Some aged people and those who are with lower limbs disability lack the leg strength, so they have trouble in standing up by themselves. Thus, we proposed an assistant device to aid users along the sit-to-stand process, that is, a rotatable chair cushion.

This was a one-month course project focusing on mechanical design process, spanning from requirements analysis, to scheme research, to physical and mathematical caculation, to finite element simulation, and to 2D and 3D modelling.
